Four Names of God used in Psalm 91:1-2

  1. Most High
    1. Elyon – Strongest of the Strong – surpassing all others – Supreme. Above all other powers/authority. If God is the most high, there is none higher.
  2. Almighty
    1. Shaddai – All-Powerful
  3. Lord
    1. Yahweh
  4. My God
    1. Elohim – The Maker of the Universe, Creator of all Life – Emphasizes God’s power/strength in creating, from nothing, the heavens/earth and all that is in them. Yet very personal.
